Quality time with my boy

This post is about faith, God. It's a shame I even put that before this post, but nowadays people just love to flex how atheist they are or whatever.....

I am so glad my mother at least gave me a decent lil intro into God. I'm grateful my Grandparents are religious and everything.

For years I kind of lived like a life without God unfortunately. I was brainwashed into the whole God is just a book of how to live your life blah blah blah. Religion, especially Christianity was boiled down to an ancient self-help book, according to like, the entire mainstream media.

But really in the end it was my fault I wasn't into my faith as a younger man. It took some life experiences and stuff, to really respect and love God.

My son has had a rough two days in school when it comes to his behavior. It's still very early in the school year, and he also had to like immediately do a 10 day quarantine, so kind of a double whammy.

Also, frankly I have got to do a better job parenting. I need to be a better father.

I'm trying to be kind, but quite stern. I'm reading out of the Children's bible and talking with him about life, behavior and God of course.

I think I'm doing a pretty solid job. I'm trying to be enthusiastic and serious about faith with him. Showing him all the positive things God can offer as long as you are a good follower.

I'm just really doing the best I can.

These moments are so special. I catch him smiling warmly when I.tell him God loves him and protects him, it's such a special sight.

I need to be a better parent though, keep being there for him every step of the way.

I want to get him into a sport too, if he wants.

Hive on folks.
