Chapters Read:

- The Hall of the Soothsayer
- On the Wings of a Dragon
Yeah so, my opinion has not changed this is one of the best books I've ever read. It's hard to say if Inheritance is benefiting from the fact that there are three other books to really set everything up but still this book is just on point! The action is happening at the highest rate ever and for the longest time ever. Like endurance wise if that makes sense. Pretty nuts! This book is fast paced compared to the prior installments but there's still distinct phases which I appreciate.
Finally meeting Galbatorix in person, for the most part anyway was pretty intense. The dude is definitely sinister and creepy. Nasuada definitely holds her own for the most part at this point in time although there's still time for events to play out. It's pretty wild just how much Galbatorix knows about the war and like, everyone in general. He eludes to being busy and stuff. I'm kinda baffled though, like what is he doing exactly? Hmmm. I'm questioning a lot in these books this time around, but they're still enjoyable. Galbatorix seems powerful and stuff but idk, he doesn't seem that smart at the same time. Or is he? Maybe he's simply grown complacent AND arrogant as others have called him. It's strange though, I feel like in a roundabout way, Galbatorix is essentially accomplishing his goals no? He wants a new regime of Riders and whatnot. It leads to his doom and downfall but is his ultimate goal not being accomplished? It's all odd when you gather the pieces of this story. I guess I just have to read more.
Murtagh and Nasuada and Galbatorix all in this situation is really wildly complex and intense for sure.
The story transitions to a very wholesome chapter in 'On the Wings of a Dragon'. That chapter is seriously just simply fun and awesome. They travel along areas they haven't been in awhile, since Eragon I believe and they learn stories about Glaedr and Oromis. It's simply so fun imagining riding a dragon across a magical land man, I mean it's just amazing.
Again, books like this make me really jaded when it comes to like, almost any TV show ever. TV shows or movies rarely capture the same magic. It can be comparable, just very rarely and usually books are always better still. Wild how this works. People say modern people are lazy and dumb etc but I think as soon as most movies came around, that's when laziness and brain rot really got started.
But anyway, I have some errands today unfortunately but I do want to jump back in this book asap. I'm sad it's nearing it's end but I can't forget there's still the 'The Fork, The Witch and The Worm' book and 'Murtagh' let's gooooo. Also other books I want to enjoy once again.
My son wants to be dragon for Halloween, how cool is that???
