Quite intriguing chapters. I'm definitely pretty far in now! Eragon and Saphira continue to be belittled and underestimated which is fair for the most part but a certain point it's like man let's have some faith in them! Interestingly though, since Glaedr has come back into the picture, Eragon has seen further development as a magic user and Rider in general. This surprises me as I always sort of pictured in my head that his training sort of stopped in Inheritance. But there are legit lessons still taught to Eragon which seem pretty clutch.
Jeod finds AGAIN finds a secret tunnel which is pretty sweet, and their plan to split up Eragon and Saphira intrigues me immensely. Feels good to try to put Murtagh and Thorn on their heels a bit. Angela getting captured and Wryden dying was wild. These chapters are getting action packed though and I love it!
Murtagh and Thorn really intrigue me especially since I am gonna read Murtagh soon!! So excited for that!
On a side note, the elves bug me for the most part. They are infinitely smug like, they define the word smug. Not sure why they aren't just considered Gods the way they are portrayed. Seriously if I had to choose to be something other than a human or Rider in this fictional world, I'd choose dwarf before an elf straight up. Besides being strong in magic and whatnot they don't actually seem fun. They are always so serious.
Anyway, these chapters are cooking and I honestly forgot about these tunnel scenes in general! Wild!
Can't wait to keep pushing.
