"Brisingr" - Chapters 53-55 - My Thoughts

I considered including the final six chapters into one post but, ultimately decided against it. The last three chapters are going to be pretty epic and I imagine I'll have a lot to say after finishing the book finally.

Roran and Katrina have such a strong relationship, it's so nice to read about how much they care for each other.

I was mildly surprised that Oromis and Glaedr are going to battle willingly. In my head I thought Eragon confronted them about hiding in Du Weldenvarden but my memory failed me AGAIN. I'm glad it did though, it's nice knowing that Oromis and Galedr are going to fight it out without being pushed. I had sorta forgotten that Glaedr gave Eragon and Saphira his Eldunarí. It's so cool that he did that and it's interesting to learn more hands on how precious it really is. I'm so glad that the four of them got to ride out of Du Weldenvarden together. It was also massively impressive to learn how much energy Oromis had stored into the jewel of his sword, Naegling. He said it could move a mountain! Such a hack! Nuts!!

In the chapter 'Flight' it's incredible how much Saphira flies. Crossing Alagaësia with relative ease is so wild. They've come a long way since 'Eragon'. Also, I never thought of it but flying on a dragon at night, under the stars, must be peak life. Reading this and imagining doing so is really too fun.

But yes, this Battle of Feinster is about to be CRAZY. I am so excited!!!
