Does anyone know what is going on with hive-engine?
These centralized exchanges really freak me out.
This makes me not wanna buy any more POB or any HIVE engine coin, if the thing becomes unreliable like this.
Can't seem to post from POB any more today either. Oh we'll guess they blocked me or something?? What are they talking about, must end with a letter, the tag ends with a letter???

Everything works fine on POB. Hive-Engine seems to be down though …. Bummer since I wanted to buy another 3,000 POB

Yes, devs and chatter on Discord say things are bonkers or out today. A little talk about hard fork prep (?) Maybe? Unfortunate that it occurred the day WAX to H-E went live. I wanted to move some WAX over but my test move got stuck. I'm sure the devs will work it out.

Hive-engine is decentralized, you can run a witness node, if you want.
I meant the front end is centralized. I might run a witness, that is a good idea.

Would require quite a few changes, but just because it has witnesses doesn't make it decentralized. Contracts (code changes) can be done without any witnesses approving it. The gateway in / out is completely centralized (hive.swap for example).
So, no 17 witness supermajority coded into the side chain changes?
It all prints in json on this chain, so it should be immutable?
I've used some of their gateways with no issues.
Don't much like the 1% tariff each way, but craptitalism kinda requires that, if Aggie wants to eat.
There was rogue transactions that caused problems halting Hive Engine. It still isn't stabilized. I've let them know but not sure when it will be really fixed.
after too years came back discouverd steem had turn in hive and now that is a extremely toxic social network after i meet you.
so i will powerdown and leave is much better option than starting a war some one as nasty as you.
I guesa it is network issue because i was also getting the same message at some point before it was resolved
There are issues with the witnesses, its being worked on and if not already working again, then it will work again later... this is blockchain tech its super safe.
