Years ago I had my own Twitter account censored and suspended, and that was the main reason I left the platform.
ELON’s buying it, no...he’s not buying it because they overestimate their subscribers, stock price drops... o.k. now he’s buying it. The Elon Musk / Twitter deal was a pretty gut-wrenching ordeal to follow, but that's finally over now & "the new ELON Kitchen Sink era" of censor-free Tweets has begun. Heck "NEW Twitter" is on the cusp of re-instating Donald Trump tweets, however, it's still unknown if Trump will even come back since he dominates his own platform now. lol
Why did Elon buy Twitter? Censorship is a problem on his favorite platform, and Elon saw a chance to fix it. Not to mention the fact that His lawyers probably told him that it would be way cheaper to buy the company now for 44 Billion than let this deal drag through court for the next ten years, it all boils down to money. A censor-free Twitter could spell big profits ahead for Twitter, censorship-resistant, isn't that HIVE's biggest tagline? lol
So will this giant social media deal have any ramifications for HIVE? Meh...I don’t think so, however, there is a slightly higher probability of something happening from it than not. In general, this deal will be a good shot in the arm for crypto, probably better for Dogecoin and Bitcoin, Elon's preferred cryptos. However, the more logical crypto move would be for Twitter to surprise everyone and adopt HIVE, so now is the time to let it be known.
If anything now is the time for HIVE to take an offensive aim on Twitter, and strike while the stinger is sharp. All Hiveans' on Twitter need make like busy bees & let Elon and the world know that Twitter is stronger with us, and is not against us. Hiveans' needs to step it up and project our strengths on Twitter, or else take the chance of letting this great new opportunity slip into obscurity.
HIVE needs to get noticed now while Twitter's trending, so a friendly #CRYPTOSOCIAL #ELON #HIVE #TWITTER campaign might be just the ticket to catapult us into the sidecar of Twitter's social media spotlight. Now that Elon has removed the censorship, there has never been a better time or platform for exposing HIVE to the masses. What do you think? I still don't know what you mean by censorship I only see people I follow and I'm pretty new the Twitter again. I've never seen any Hive post get censored. I have seen a lot of comments that were considered insensitive but exactly were not even close to being insensitive. And the main reason I went back to Twitter is because of hive so anything important that I want to follow or see I have YouTube for that
I had STEEM posts blocked a long time ago, censorship is just people and ai going through and making posts they don't agree with less visible. It mainly will happen with really controversial posts, or threatening posts, maybe even censor competition.
