Rub the Buddhas belly so HIVE devs add Shorts feature! 😄

HIVE... where are all the funny creative short videos at? 😂

It seems pretty standard these days for all top social media platforms to be overflowing with short viral "Tik Tok" style videos concentrated in one spot. It's so nice when the videos autoplay as you scroll wheel through them, like they do on YouTube! I find browsing through this style of short video postings to be an invaluable source of on the fly entertainment, especially when my attention span isn't up to watching a whole movie, or reading a bunch of long winded posts on HIVE.

In the time it takes me to scroll through one long HIVE post I could have literally watched what seems like an eternity of short funny video clips.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a short video clip must be worth a million trillion life long lessons, that's why I think HIVE (especially PEAKD) really needs to address this issue and start thinking about adding the "Shorts" section like YouTube did. All I know is that I love to flip through these shorts videos for a laugh, and would really love to be able to do it on HIVE too!

Building a simple "Shorts" video only section on the HIVE frontend would seems like the logical next step for the HIVE Devs, & I think the benefits would far outweigh the costs to implement. A simple feature like this could snowball quality onboarding, since the young crowd of "viral short video" producers tend to be creative geniuses tbh, and that is what the HIVE platform needs more of now. So... it's time for HIVE to turn a new leaf and follow the lead of the other top social media platforms and add a "Shorts" segment to the site if we want to really want this place to take off.
