Sublime Sunday

Hello hivans, how are you all doing today. As we all know that today is Easter celebration Sunday. I went to church to hear the word of God. We started with opening prayer and then praise and worship continued. An hymn was sung by the congregation and we had few intercessory prayer s. After the prayers, an offering was taken then the pastor took charge of the sermon. He talked about the 'Resurrection Of Jesus'. More explanation was made on how Jesus died to save us from our sins and how God sacrificed his son to save the world at large. A story was told by our pastor. He made emphasis on Matthew in the Bible. Jesus was sent to save the world by being born by Mary, a virgin whom the Holy Spirit blessed with a pregnancy. Jesus grew up with signs and wonders entitled to him by God, his father in heaven. Jesus continued his ministry as he grew up. He casted out demons and healed the sick. His mission started effectively at the age of 12 when he was at the temple with his mother Mary. As he grew older, he began to become more popular. People started going to him for help and he helped them according to their faith. He further continued his mission by gathering his disciples. He would go to pray in the temple with his disciples and he would heal people of diseases and sicknesses. He was later betrayed by one of his disciples called Judas Iscariot who sold him out. Jesus suffered torture and was later hanged on the cross of Calvary. Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus hung himself after feeling guilty of what he did. Jesus died on the cross and was taken to a tomb. He rose again after three days of his death. In conclusion, my pastor said Jesus died on the cross of the cavalry but he rose and lives forever. He's alive for eternity. The sermon was really emotional that I shed tears knowing how Jesus suffered for my sin. I cant imagine how he felt while on the cross before he died. I'm so grateful that there's someone who loves me and died for me so my sin could be cleansed. Jesus is alive forever. I hope you had a better celebration too. Jesus loves us.
