RE: What would you do if you had 200K worth of Hive?

That's a fun thing to think about but if I had that amount I would be nervous that it would get lost somehow. Ideally I'd convert to HBD for the interest. I would need that amount of hive to be stable. Then I'd probably just sit around and worry about getting hacked lol

Lol, that could indeed become an issue then. But still, I don’t think I would cash out and leave. It’s all I ever wanted, a “well” that brings me easy money every month…
well I wouldn't cash out and leave but I always wonder if hive could just fall apart. I don't see that but anything is possible. I would be scared if I had 100,000 in HBD savings. I suppose I would have a tight exit strategy for my savings at that point though.

Are you doing that with your HIVE now? Why do you think it will change if the numbers just get bigger?

I'm not really doing it 100%. I have 3x more liquid hive than hive power. Not sure why I don't just power it all up and have a constant unstake going just to ease my nerves. I think if the numbers get bigger it just gets scarier because then it gets "real". I've never been an investor. But my mindset is changing.

Well powered up is safer than in liquid form because if your account gets hacked, it takes 13 weeks to get to your money.
It is a safety feature as well.

will that help if you've been hacked? what can you do within 13 weeks?

You can reset your account. Hive has that capabilities where you can have your keys reset and lock the hacker out.
