I Finally Broke Down And Went Partially Into Auto Votes

I finally cracked! I couldn't do it anymore because I needed some sleep and realized that I had a business to attend to. I got myself addicted to @leofinance .

My goal was to manually curate 100% votes with this account and @tulwave (my curation account). I still want to do that as much as possible but I was leaving votes on the table when sleeping and needing to do some other things with my time.

So I found out how to follow @leo.voter and give up some votes to the crowd when I wasn't using them. Nothing wrong with that because I'm trying to serve the greater good and I figure curating after @leo.voter is a safe bet.

But I'm not devoting a ton of LP to it, it will basically keep me around 80% which will give me plenty of manual votes to keep me busy and I still have my @cflclosers votes to dole out.

However, I'm not understanding the system. My goal was to follow @leo.voter with 50% upvotes to whomever they curate. But when I follow the activity I see the actual votes from my @tulwave account are only around 8%.

I'm not sure what to change but I suspect it would be to unclick "scale voting weight" on hive vote as seen in the image above. That is the default so I didn't want to mess with it so I need some LeoMind help here?

If I click fixed weight voting will It start to give out the 50% votes as I was my goal? Look forward to reading your thoughts in the comments.

I would like to know too, because when my VP reach 100% while I do other things I would like to follow leo.voter trail.

I did setup the configuration and I’m following leo.voter but when I weak up I don’t see any activity :/

First... I am still brand new here, but I've also been doing a lot of reading about this for my own benefit. So here's how I understand it: your 50% voting weight actually means that you're voting HALF of the curator's vote, and then scaling evenly up or down mirroring what they do... but with those settings, you will always be voting 50% of what they are. So if your average vote is 8%, that means @leo.voter uses an average weight of 16%.

My question is about the delegation... I have my HIVE delegated to leo.voter and I want to manually curate with LEO here on LeoFinance. I thought that's how it worked: I delegate my HP to leo.voter and they pay rewards in LEO tokens. So maybe you can help me, @cflclosers (and/or @leo.voter) understand this aspect of curation rewards a bit more.
