Sticking To Life's Anchor : A Freewrite Poetry

Source

An anchor, more than just a weight
That keeps our ships from floating away
A symbol of something far more great
A grounding force to guide our way.

An anchor for the soul, a light
In dark and stormy seas of life
A symbol of what gives us might
A guiding star, a source of life.

An anchor for the heart, a hold
That keeps us safe, that makes us whole
A symbol of the love we're told
A rock, a fortress, a treasure trove.

So let us hold our anchors tight
And trust in what they symbolize
For they are more than just a tie
They're a symbol of our true life.
