SHOULD I PAINT THIS GORGEOUS WEE RURAL SCENE - Down the road from my parents farm. DAILY BLOG

Scenes from the country

This is high on my hit list of "paintings to paint" isn't it a gorgeous shot. Taken up the road from my parents little "farm"

I think this would look lovely painted.

How nice would it be to have this as your back garden?

Garden Blog

However i have too much to do today to paint.

I have just gone out in the garden to try and do some gardening but there are too many bugs. Been bitten alive and scared to death by, ants (biting ones) mosquito's (biting ones) Cane Toads, (poisonous ones) Spiders (not poisonous ones, but fucking scary bastards) grasshoppers (that land on me and i think they are one of the above things
and any number of other mites and critters that are actually just too much... so i have come inside to take lots of antohistamines.. lol... There endeth my garden adventure for today.

its all the constant rain... they are all breeding... happy ... or pissed off and displaced by the rain.

im desperately trying to pull out the back section but its such hard work i don't even know where to start... my husband has made it WAY harder too as he decided to put all the garden clippings over all the work i had done. Now i need to remove ALL the garden clippings... wash the stones and get back to what i was doing... its set me back weeks... i can;t believe he did that... i am so upset and cross... grrr.... anyway better get back to it...

I almost read this post in an Aussie accent! hahaha We have a saying here in Texas (which in many ways is similar to Australia)... If momma ain't happy, nobody is happy!
I definitely think you should befriend the bugs and paint that scene when you get some time and the chance! Cheers =)

Yes, i bet y'all have some Texas sized skeeters there too! If you can get some lavender baby powder that can help. Citrus as well. They hate that shit! Plus it will keep you fresh whilst you work! hahaha
Take care and slap your bites instead of scratch... it works, believe it or not!

just the advice my 7 year old gave me.... DON"T scratch mummy... bash them with your fist... lol

everything here is super size... dinner plate size spiders and all the rest.

thanks for tips :-)

Yes, here in the States, it's the same thing... Texas is known for everything being bigger here. I think y'all have us beat in many categories. A hot spoon on your bites is supposed to help as well but i think slapping works better. Stay safe and keep up the good work fighting the good fight!
