It's a Dilemma to Forget

Forget...
Forgetting, is it worth forgetting?
Is forgetting an answer to happiness?
Forgetting destroys memories.
Is that my desire?
Or I prefer to keep my own story alive.
And then? Forgetting or not forgetting
Forgetfulness, who stimulates your presence?
Which organ of the body needs it the most? Could it be the heart or, in its defect, the brain?
When the heart feels wounded, it begs for help,
The brain, when drowned in memories, seduces oblivion.
Even though the memory hurts
Even if history insists on repeating
Me, forget I don't want.
Of remembrances I wish to live.
