It wasn't an easy take for Jürgen Klopp and his side as they traveled down to Turf Moor to take on Sean Dyche's Burnley side. It was a must win game for Liverpool as they hoped to keep in touch with the league leaders Manchester City.

The first half of the game was full of action as both sides tried to open their account. Burnley came the closest in a half that was looking to end goalless but Liverpool was able to break the deadlock in the 40th minute of the game as the inform Fabinho rush into an a lovely corner kick from Trent Alexander-Arnold that was redirected by the head of Sadio Mane.

The second half of the game was no different as the Burnley side threatened to level up the game many times, but Allison and his side were able to stand against all forms threats coming from the Burnley side. Liverpool saw off the game with a little bit of lucky as they held on to their first half goal.

Jürgen Klopp in his post match interview heaped praise on his Liverpool side for being able to control a larger part of the game and also see off the threats from the Burnley side in a match that was met with bad weather.

Fabinho has now recorded more goals this season than every other season's as he helped his side in keeping the chase for the premier League title alive. Liverpool still have one more game at hand and will be hoping to close down the gap between them and the League Leaders Manchester City as soon as possible as they mount more pressure Pep Guardiola and his side

Next up for Klopp and his team is stunning test in the Champions league on Wednesday night as they go head to head with an Inter Milan side who are currently seating second on their league with a game in hand too.
Liverpool will be looking to continue their current winning form in other to stay in sharp for the remainder of the Premier League campaign.

It was so thrilling watching the Reds grab all three points on Monday night. The title hopes is still high and I'm trusting that Liverpool will make fans smile this season.
