The Immediate Smell Of An Ideal Home

Everyone's likes differ from the others, and as such we've all had to place different opinions on the table, combat numerous views and most times end up sticking to our guts because that's what we feel comfortable with.

Speaking of Comfort, it is only crucial, likely the most important or relevant factor in a journey of raising blocks. A home is the perfect definition of a comfort zone, whereas when there's no atom of comfort felt, it's most likely not a home, and for this reasons, humans do all it takes to claim that peace of mind.

Particularly I work from home, basically do all the hustle online and then tackle some daily hassle along the line. Yesterday I took a quick few kilometers travel, particularly from Uyo, my home Town to a certain Estate called "Shelter Africa '' if I spelt that right. I honestly wasn't aware such a place existed in such a nearby location, and on getting there, I could not help but think of the Ideal Home. Trust me when I say this place has got some of the best exterior furnished buildings, and from the overview, the in-view would be a killer.

So without wasting much more time, here's the first click to digest.

OK, Nigeria to be honest has got very beautiful locations, right from Naturally Polished environments to man made structures. I think this is one of those houses on the hills, the ideal apartment. I mean, who wouldn't want to live close to the sky. If I was to have a friend come over from the foreign, I would definitely arrange for an apartment here because it's not just a nice location with eye catching structures, it's also a very secured space with 24hrs surveillance cameras.

However, let's talk about the house exterior design.

From a certain perspective, it looks like a bank, pardon me but banks these days adopt this all square like structures with heavy metals, all pillars built with quality steel or tough irons, and I can understand the reasons behind it. That said, we have our eyes fixed on a Square-like home, one of the most fancied types of building structures. You know when I got here, I could imagine the inner beauty of this set up, you know the structure is never perfect if the inside doesn't compliment the exterior design. But just looking from the outside, it was easily determined that it's a perfect structure both in and out.

I think we should compliment the choice of color here are well, the combination added to the environmental green feel smells like the paradise like home, and not to mention that the structure is built entirely with brick, no zinc of any kind not even for the roof, and speaking of the roof, though I wasn't opportune to get up there, I think it's a nice kinda experience up there, there's a glimpse to what's up there in the next click.

There's a sit out up there, and you gotta agree that it's a nice place for relaxation and maybe a few recreational activities when the weather is favorable like the sun downs. And in all, the entire building is addictive, solidly built and in all it adds so much beauty to its environment, the immediate smell of an ideal home.

Thanks for reading this far, what's your take of an ideal home? Is this somewhat perfect? I feel @melbourneswest would find this fascinating though.

The architecture is a bit too bold for me, I like more neutral colours this is probably something I'd have on a factory or business so I can see how you associate it with a bank.

Everyone has different styles and colour likes.

Haha! It's nice but not my style. Plus it also depends on the area you are buying/building in.

I can't wait for mine to start and I can share it. I'm sure some may not like it but it's for my style and taste :)

Yea I understand that, for me so long as it's got cool colors and raised up a couple blocks it's perfect and if the owners love it, will wanna see yours when done tho 🤞

I have to agree with @melbourneswest, it has a bit of a commercial office vibe from my point of view. I can see how it can tickle the taste buds for someone with a more modern palette. I do like the brown/copper glass railings though, they are swaggy yet elegant.

Hehehe, I guess am out numbered on this, but now that you've both raised this point, I tend to see the bit of the flaw, although it's also adds credits to its office structure. The builders did really out work themselves...

You'd be surprised at how quickly these types of buildings are erected. When you strip back the porch awning and the pillars you're left with lots of squares, the walls will all be timber kits that are pre-made and then craned into place in the build process. I wouldn't be surprised if the main structure of this building was put up in one day.

Of course, that is just the stage of the house building process that comes after the foundations and plenty more work is needed from there to finish, but the process is more or less the same for this type of build.

You sound like this is your field of studies, well I can't say anything about that as I am only an explorer of beauty...

I have a little bit of experience but nothing spectacular, I much prefer to just appreciate the beauty also lol.
