Why not question the financial system?

Would you believe it if someone said that you need to make your money worth less every day for the world to keep working? Would you believe in a system that lives on debt and the misery of the population as a whole? Would you trust a group of parasites that take part of your production to pay special bodies in the police to watch over you? So why believe in the traditional financial system? Why not at least give decentralized finance a chance?

If you agree with everything I've said, then you're on the right track, my friend. You're fighting the financial system as we know it, you're fighting big corporate sharks, and you're fighting for your very survival in a system where you're nothing more than a pawn

Sites like Odysee, Hive and Publish0x help democratize information among people, while sites like Presearch help with decentralization and impartiality of search engines and browser plugins that work as crypto wallets are great for educating people about the use of cryptocurrencies (although there are better methods to store your cryptos, such as cold wallets, wallets like Metamask are still the most used alternatives for their practicality) and even brokerages are used due to their ease of use in relation to peer-to-peer purchases to-peer for beginners (I won't recommend any because of the recent scandals involving several brokers, but you can easily find brokers on Google). Do you want to participate in this revolution along with me?

When you are more advanced, you can start learning about DeFi (at Hive, my preferred platform is TribalDex, but there are others, and they exist in almost all crypto networks that support more than one token) and about self-custody, learning to difference between custodial and non-custodial wallets. Good luck ❤️

The problem with Traditional vs Decentralized financial systems is that they're both based on the same principle. It just changes who rules that system.

The "money value becomes less with time" problem isn't inherent to Fiat, (or at least it shouldn't be,) as it's a by-product of Banks/Governments playing games with each other and the money lending with interest... Meaning, something like that could definitely (and already) happen in decentralized systems too.

Another problem with the decentralized systems is that at least for now, they're dependent on the Fiat (most people trade in USD value instead of something intrinsic like the gold value of a coin) so we still have the problems of the traditional money systems by extension.

I don't disagree with what you said, but it's important to know that decentralization while solves some of the problems, they usually aren't inherent to the traditional financial systems, but problems arising from their leadership and with bad leadership, decentralized finance could face these problems too!

My point is that when the economy is decentralized, traditional banks lose part of their power over the individual, and the subject himself gains voting power within the system. And I don't think it's really possible to completely suppress the current fiduciary system, but we can at least reduce a good part of its power, and the first step towards that is precisely, in my opinion, convincing people that this is the right thing to do. done so that they can have a more dignified life, and this can only be done with education and knowledge

And I agree with you on all counts, the technology is still very immature, and we don't know the fullness of both its applications and potential problems, and people are still mentally and financially dependent on the traditional fiat banking system, the which, for example, hampers a peer-to-peer economy between users of a certain cryptocurrency (buying basic everyday things, such as beans and rice), at the same time that it ends up stimulating speculation on top of certain cryptocurrencies

I hope this leads to a better future... My fear with these decentrailized systems is that a group with a big enough stake could become the government of the peer-to-peer systems. Won't that mean we'll have the same problems if that happened?

It is for these and other reasons that I prefer Proof of Work to Proof of Stake
