Why do interns always make absurd mistakes in the worst possible places?

Where there is a mistake to be made, the intern will be there. Where there is a permanent employee, there will be the intern to ask for truisms instead of using Google. Where there are no mistakes to be made, the intern will create a new way to make mistakes

And it's ok, after all, they're learning, so you should always make sure they don't screw up.

"database without a backup", don't put the balme on the interns here. Definitely should't have that ability and all production db's should be backed up. This is a process failure.
