There are many wonderful creatures on this planet, i can't help wonder if when they named it they was like, "we can't call it a possum, there is already that creature, i know lets call it Opossum" 🤣

Lol! you made me smile! They are such timid creatures and really want nothing to do with mankind. I really hope he stays around here where it's relatively safe for him.
They are nocturnal, generally, so maybe you might see one at twilight. Take care and have a lovely day! !LADY
