What do you think about self-voting?

Greetings all!

I have to upvote my own posts when my post's visibility is low because of not getting enough upvotes or I have extra voting power which I don't like to waste on bad posts of others. But I feel bad when I have to upvote my own post. It fills me with a feeling of guilt.
What is your view about it?

  • It's totally bad.
  • It's not a bad thing at all.
  • It is good to do so.
  • It is necessary in many situation.

If you believe your post is useful or interesting, there's nothing wrong with supporting it yourself. What matters is being honest with yourself about the quality of the content.
