Splinterlands is one of the most successful game on Hive blockchain. But it has become full of exploitation of players.

As you can see in the above screenshot, it requires players to get wild pass.

The cost of getting wild pass is 2000 DEC which is almost equal to $2. Do you thing it is justified to spend that much amount? I don't think so, specially when you won't get much in return. You can earn as much as 10 to 15 SPS depending on your stake. Value of one SPS is $0.09. So, the value of 10 SPS is just $0.9 which is not even equal to $1. After playing for 15 days you will earn just below one USD after purchasing wild pass at 2USD. After so much frustration you'll feel yourself being cheated by a scammer. That's why it is not a wise thing to get wild pass.

You can play in modern format but only concave arcana sets are allowed in it. So, you'll have to buy those card sets which will require you to spend over $500 to become even able to win matches. And I already have told you about the return. There is no value of your time and efforts and even investment. You have to buy cards at higher rates but you cannot sell them in profit. For example one card cost about $1. You combine 25 cards to level it up to level 4. Then you may expect to sell it at least over $25 but that won't happen. No one will buy it from you at this price. Maximum you can get $10 to 12 for it.
So, your investment and labor would bring you lots of frustration and loss.

That's why I won't play it anymore.
