Man what a game the Titans played against the Browns! It's only their second win in what has been a pretty miserable season but, I'm incredibly glad they were able to get it done. It wasn't a total full blown snow game where the field was covered, but there were flurries and mild snow showers throughout the game. It was fun to watch them win in those conditions!

Tony Pollard has to be the player of the game, he was excellent rushing for 161 yards and 2 touchdowns! It was great to see him have such a dominant performance as the running game for the Titans has been kinda bad this season. It was surprising too against a solid Browns defense with future Hall of Famer Myles Garrett on the field. Pollard now has 743 rushing yards and with four games remaining, he could still grab his fourth consecutive 1,000 yard rushing season.

Cam Ward wasn't awesome but he was far from terrible. He managed the game well and it was nice. I think his game managing abilities have been surprisingly decent in his rookie season.

But yeah, all in all that was such a fun back and forth battle last week. The Titans might be the worst team in football but, this December victory was a nice Christmas present. Maybe the Titans can snag a few more gifts before Santa arrives.

Today the Titans won't be facing a struggling Browns team. They'll be facing the consistently good, if not great, 49ers IN San Francisco. The Niners are 9-4 and while that's a very strong record, they are in the elite NFC West and are actually in third place in their division and just the six seed as of now. The Rams and Seahawks are 10-3 though so they can still grab a higher seed or even win the division.

Basically, the Niners need every win they can get. I'm sure they're happy to face the Titans this late in the season and stay on pace in their conference. It would be pretty epic for the Titans to upset the Niners though and cause a bit of chaos! Nearly 8 years ago to the day, the Titans lost a close game to the Niners as the Titans were clawing towards the playoffs. The Titans ended up making the playoffs but the loss definitely hurt. Maybe the Titans can return the favor all these years later.

The Titans got destroyed by the Jags, and then they beat the Browns so maybe they're learning some lessons in general.

I'm curious to see how it all goes down!
