Three Titans appear in the NFL's 'Top 100' Players List!

A little late to the party here, but I did want to make this post and so, better late than never.

Every year, NFL players vote on who they believe the top 100 players are in the whole NFL. I remember when the Titans had zero players on these lists, the dark ages LOL. In recent years, at least a few Titans end up on these lists and it's great to see.

The first Titan on the list is Jeffery Simmons, the Titans' SAVAGE of a defensive tackle. Big Jeff was voted as being the 54th best player in the whole NFL!

Big Jeff posted career highs in many different categories in 2021 like sacks, total tackles, solo tackles, passes defended, tackles for loss and QB hits.

Big Jeff is not just a stat machine, he's also a great energy guy and just a great teammate. The team respects Simmons so much, that he's been named a team captain.

2021 was a career year for Simmons. He just turned 25 this summer, and that fact should be VERY scary for the rest of the NFL.

The next Titan on the list is a man familiar with being on this list as he's on it annually. Titans old reliable, elite safety Kevin Byard. Byard is a top forty player this season, coming in ranked #34!

Kevin Byard is probably the heart and soul of this Titans defense, overall. Jeff Simmons could make a case, but Kevin is just different. He's a ball hawk, and a tackling machine. The man does it all on the field. Byard had five interceptions in 2021, including a pick-six against the Super Bowl Champs!

What's even more impressive, is the simple fact that Byard has appeared in every single Titans game since 2016, including the playoffs! That's 104 games in total!

Everyone in Tennessee loves Kevin.

Last but certainly not least, is the Titans' generationally gifted player, running back Derrick Henry.

Derrick Henry, #12 in the NFL!

This guy is a live stallion in the back field. This man can do things on the field that players shouldn't be able to do. This guy is the heart and soul of the Titans' offense. He is the engine.

Despite only appearing in eight games in 2021, Henry still ran for 900 plus yards and scored 10 rushing touchdowns, and he still managed to come in at #12 on the NFL Top 100 list!!!

As much as most fans respect Henry, it seems that some may be foolishly sleeping on him. I hear foolish whispers that people are starting to think that another AFC South running back is better?

The King is going to remind everyone that the best back in the land is in two-tone blue.
