The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 8 + 🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎

November 8th, 2024 - Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Lakers

The Machine got to play one of his favorite players in Luka Doncic! Of course he was pretty in awe of LeBron James as well. Both players are seriously iconic and to share the court with those two was truly a special time. It was also fun to play one of the players The Machine was compared to in Austin Reaves.

It turned out to be a solid, extremely close game, but the Sixers came out on top!

The Machine had:

  • 10 Points, 5 Rebounds, 7 Assists
  • A- Teammate Grade

🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎

In the real world, the Pacers lost a really good game against the Thunder on Friday. Ugh. As a person that wants the Pacers to upset the Thunder that was brutal! I was definitely a little upset! I feel like the Pacers were in control for awhile but they sort of got a bit too comfortable. That's just the vibe I got. TOUGH. This is going to be a wild finish now. The Thunder showed toughness, gotta give them credit. It's 2-2 headed back to OKC.

In the MMA world, Kamaru Usman too care of business and beat the young up and coming Joaquin Buckley in an entertaining welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Atlanta, Georgia. Buckley is a really confident, outspoken dude and came in expecting to win. But Kamaru is one of the best champions the UFC has ever had. Kamaru implemented his wrestling to the highest degree and as a former wrestler that was refreshing to see. People who don't like grappling aren't MMA fans, they are kickboxing fans in denial! A grappling fight can be just as boring as a striking battle full of weak jabs and leg kicks. But that's a seemingly never ending discussion for another day.

Kamaru's wrestling wasn't boring either. He totally big-brothered Buckley with consistent ground and pound, always active, looking to make something happen. He even cut Buckley open early for all of you damage hungry fans. It was a solid fight for the veteran. I really respect what Usman brings to the table as a fighter. I was happy to see him humble Buckley a bit. Buckley still has a bright future and has seriously found a home at welterweight. He can be a bit overconfident, but he is pretty fun. I'm actually intrigued to see both of them fight again! Usman is super close to a title fight, and Buckley isn't too far off himself despite the loss. I wouldn't even be surprised if they met again down the line! Usman is nearing retirement kinda but I seriously would not be surprised if they fought again.

Fun stuff, till next time!
