The Machine NBA2K25 Career Pt. 7 + 🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
November 6th, 2024 - Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Clippers
The Machine really struggled in this one as the Sixers lost to Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and the Clippers. It's not easy to just come into the league and dominate, but it's still early in the season! The Machine won't be locked down forever! Plenty of time!

🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today🌎
In the real world, sports and basketball media are in absolute shambles after the Pacers got a key victory last night! Media loves to say everything is about hot takes to keep things 'interesting' or whatever but at a certain point these people just talk to talk. It's really quite pathetic. ESPN wonders why they aren't taken seriously these days. If I ever bother watching any of their clips on YouTube I usually can only tolerate it for like 1/8 of the video until I just shake my head and click off. The only mainstream sports show that seems tolerable is First Things First. The way the NBA dismisses the Pacers like this was going to be a four or five game series in favor of the Thunder is truly just laughable. I've been wrong about some sports stuff of course but I don't know, some analysts don't have respect or common sense these days. 'The Thunder have the MVP, they must be better!' Is basically their whole argument. Or 'The Pacers are in the East!' The Celtics literally won the Championship last year...
Predicting games can be complicated, and the Thunder aren't out of it. But no matter what happens, the Pacers kinda proved how lazy mainstream sports shows are. It's so annoying.
Haliburton nearly had a triple double, T.J. McConnell and Bennedict Mathurin absolutely cooked the Thunder off of the bench. People say the Thunder can keep up with the Pacers speed, but watching the game, I can't see how this is the case. Head Coach Carlisle is absolutely playing chess out there as well. The Pacers are just absurdly deep in general and it's pretty cool. Myles Turner has also been fun to watch.
Tomorrow the Pacers and Thunder play again, and the Pacers better lock in and drain these first three games. Winning Game 4 would be absolutely massive. The Thunder's gas tank better improve in 48 hours because the Pacers are gonna push the pace!
I'm maybe coming on strong, this series isn't over. I do favor the Pacers but nothing would shock me really.
