The Machine stays on the grind! The NBA season is a long one, but he's bringing his best each and every game.

He and the Sixers were in Mile High City to face Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets. It was definitely pretty mind-blowing to face such a legend of the game, but The Machine is out to build his own legacy too!

The Sixers rolled through the Nuggets without much issue. The Machine was The Player of the Game and he finished with:

🌎My Thoughts on the Sports World Today

In the real world, UFC 326 is here, the World Baseball Classic continues, and of course the Sixers play! It will definitely be tough trying to keep track of it all.

UFC 326 - Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira 2

Tonight UFC 326 goes down in Las Vegas! The main event is excellent, otherwise though, the matchups aren't too enticing, but I'm sure there will be some entertaining battles. There are a few recognizable names! For the lesser known fighters, thanks to Max and Charles being stars, this is a great opportunity to make a name for themselves!

Former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt returns to fight Xiao Long. Cody's downfall from champion has always sort of baffled me to this day. I believe Cody is a superb athlete and of course he has proved this many times, but I get a sense the mental aspect of the game has maybe been a weakness of his. Bummer. Cody is coming into tonight on a two fight losing streak. Cody's matchups throughout his UFC career have been pretty high caliber which, I feel like maybe some people overlook when it comes to him. He's only lost to very good, if not excellent, competition. Tonight's fight against Xiao Long is maybe winnable but, there's factors on paper that give me pause. Long is seven years younger and has a substantial four and a half inch reach advantage. But still, I'll pick Cody to win, just a gut feeling. Man, this is a tough one to choose though, betting UFC I imagine would be stressful. Luckily I'm not betting!

Drew Dober and Michael Johnson fight tonight and man these guys are two absolute journeyman of the sport. Drew Dober has been in the UFC for roughly twelve and a half years! Unbelievable, I thought maybe he was in the UFC seven-eight years. Shows how much I know. Michael Johnson has been in the UFC for roughly 15 years! Johnson is somehow on a three fight win streak at 39 years old. Drew Dober is as professional as it gets too. My gut tells me Drew Dober wins but man, this might be madness when the octagon doors close.

Rob Font faces the up and comer Raúl Rosas Jr. I think Rob is much better and gets it done. The age difference is wild though, Rob is seventeen years older! That could be an issue for Rob.

Caio Borralho faces Reinier de Ridder. This matchup doesn't overly excite me but it is a big middleweight matchup as both of these guys are in the top ten at middleweight.

In the main event, Max Holloway faces Charles Oliveira for the second time! This is for the BMF Title too. I'd really like to see someone actually test Max's ground game for once. Everyone knows this dude can strike. It would be nice to see someone ignore that mess and put this guy on his back. Charles could be the guy to do it.

Max probably gets it done but who knows honestly. I'm intrigued to see how Charles handles Max's pressure. Charles is a dangerous dude and I don't think he will play that pitter patter game for long. Charles is typically an A to B style fighter for the most part, where as Max will use the entire alphabet and win a point fight. Charles can't get caught up in Max's traps and game plans, he needs to force Max to think and solve a problem, actually stress him out.

I'm going to be really nervous going into this one, anything can happen. I see a clear way both guys can win this. Both fighters have evolved massively since their first fight nearly eleven years ago.

My brain is telling me Max wins. I'd love to see Charles win though.

Team USA sees victory over Brazil yesterday! They are to face Great Britain tonight.

Team USA won their first match over Brazil in the World Baseball Classic yesterday, and while in the end they won by a substantial margin, Brazil made the Americans work for it, that's for sure. I'm hoping that this was a wake up call for the Americans and that they will be even more locked in going forward.

I noticed Japan and Korea had a fantastic battle, with Japan eventually pulling away with the win. Japan is now 2-0.

Team USA faces Great Britain tonight and that will be interesting. Great Britain gave Mexico a run for their money for a substantial portion of their game yesterday which was pretty surprising for a bit. So the US shouldn't take them lightly. Most of Great Britain's roster are American born or players from the Bahamas. I noticed two players actually born in the UK. So it's not as if the team is made of soccer players who tossed on a glove.
