The depleted Sixers are somehow on a two game winning streak, tough game tonight in Denver
I'm on a serious multitasking grind at the moment. But I guess that's life! Currently on the bus home from Walmart. Listening to Team USA struggle big time against Team Venezuela in The World Baseball Classic. Yikes, they're only down 2-0 but eh it's looking a bit depressing.
Maybe they'll still, win and maybe the Sixers can get a gigantic upset tonight in Denver! The Sixers surprised me on Sunday by finding victory over the Trail Blazers. That's a winning streak baby! Quentin Grimes had 31 points and V.J. Edgecombe had 18 points and 12 rebounds! 12 Rebounds from a rookie guard! I'll take that.
The Sixers begin their western road trip in Denver. It would have been nice to see big men Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokić go to battle but Embiid is once again unavailable. Dang. They could have been a glorious rivalry in a different universe.
The Nuggets are one of the best teams in basketball, even if their record isn't totally elite, it's still pretty excellent, at 41-27. Everyone knows that once the Nuggets make the playoffs, they're a championship threat since they have the best player in basketball in Nikola Jokić. He already has three MVPs and he doesn't appear to be slowing down much.
The Sixers are doing a respectable job at staying afloat in the Eastern Conference, but tonight will be a massive challenge.
Time to get home eat, and enjoy some sports.
