Ryan Howard 2006 Upper Deck Season Highlights MLB Baseball Card
Ryan Howard is easily one of my favorite baseball players ever. Howard was drafted by the Phillies in 2001 and by 2008 the Phillies won a World Series. Obviously the Phillies had a lot of talent but Howard's powerful bat was crucial. Howard never wore another uniform in the big leagues. He briefly played in the minors for the Rockies and the Braves at the end of his career but it didn't amount to anything and he ultimately retired pretty quickly. He'll always be a Phillie!
I remember this Home Run Derby well. I watched it at an old forgotten childhood friend's house. Time flies man, hope he's doing well. When Ryan won it was SUPER exciting stuff to me. The Home Run Derby is like one of the coolest events ever.

The top movie out the night Howard was winning the Home Run Derby on July 10, 2006 was 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest'. Solid films. I wonder if people caught the movie and then watched the Derby? I'm sure it happened. Good times. 2006 was tremendous.
