The Phillies took care of business Wednesday and won their series against the Cubs! That was great to see. The Phillies took control early, scoring three in the first and just ran away from there. Schwarber his his 21st homer, and Bohm hit his 6th. Luzardo struck out TEN batters! It was so nice to see him bounce back after two straight really bad starts beforehand. It had been ages since the Phillies won a series and the Cubs are a good team!

The Phillies need to use this momentum to start turning this slump around big time. The Phillies have completed just about 42 percent of their season, and after that slump the Phillies are behind the Mets 5.5 games in the NL East. They won their series Wednesday, had a off day, and today they get to perhaps even the score a bit on the Blue Jays after struggling big time against them only roughly a week ago up in Canada.

The Phillies also get to stay in Philadelphia as well, so their off day hopefully feels that much better, no traveling around catching planes etc. Ranger on the mound today! Lets flush that slump down the drain!
