Phillies win a thriller out in San Francisco! | Cristopher Sánchez on the mound to try and clinch series victory tonight

Once again I am writing this up in between the food delivery grind. It's pretty fun honestly. I'm not raking in buckets of cash but it's satisfying to make money in a fairly free type of fashion.

Anyway, Andrew Painter's second start of his career didn't go well yesterday. He allowed four runs in four innings. Yikes. Not a disaster, but pretty close to one. Nine of the Giants' eleven hits came during his four innings.

Luckily the bullpen was excellent again, and luckily the offense woke up to a much more satisfactory level as I was hoping they would. The Phillies matched the Giants with eleven hits and were overall much more clutch as well.

There were contributions from much of the Phillies lineup, rookie Justin Crawford has been really solid. But yesterday Bryce Harper was the star the Phillies need him to be! He went 3 for 4, including two doubles and three RBI!

It was a beautiful comeback victory for the fellas! Super fun to watch everyone look sharp.

Tonight, Cristopher Sánchez looks for his second win of the year and maintain his superb 0.97 ERA!

It will be another late night ball game! The weather looks solid out there, much better than it is out here in the Philly area. It's roughly 56 degrees in San Francisco, while it's 40 degrees and dropping in Philly! It's supposed to reach freezing temperatures overnight. Winter vibes linger on it seems! Hopefully the Phils enjoy the milder weather and secure this series win!
