The Phillies had a great team win yesterday. Ranger Suárez was solid for the Phillies like usual. The Phillies took him out after about 85 pitches and five innings of work though to prevent from overworking him which makes sense since last season he fizzled out in the second half of the year in a substantial way. He's earned a lighter outing and for once the Phillies helped him out! Four different pitchers came in from the bullpen, and all four pitched a clean solo inning, big shoutout to Romano, Banks, Kerkering, and Strahm. The Phillies won by a score of 5-1 where three different Phillies homered! Edmundo Sosa hit his 3rd, Alec Bohm hit his 8th, and Kyle Schwarber hit his 27th. Shoutout to Alec Bohm he's been really good the past two months.

So yeah, yesterday had great pitching, and great power from the batting order. Pretty good deal.

Today the Phillies look to go 16 games over .500. The Mets are still right on the Phillies tail though in the NL East and tomorrow the Phillies head west after this current home stretch so, there's a lot to play for! Games starting to get more and more crucial! Wheeler on the mound now!
