Phillies Stay Hot and Complete Mini-Sweep of Blue Jays

The Phillies winning ways continue as they get a clean 4-2 victory yesterday afternoon in Toronto and sweep the Blue Jays in a two game series. Schwarber stayed hot. He not only homered but he was two for three with a walk, reaching base three out of four at-bats. Four homers in two days not too shabby. Brandon Marsh also is heating up which is amazing to watch. I feel like he looks up to Castellanos and has been feeling the good vibes of Casty's good performances lately. Just a gut feeling.

It feels like only yesterday I was worried about the Phillies but all of a sudden they have been red hot! They've won four straight and eight of their last ten games. The NL East is pretty much in the bag, The Brewers have been losing, and the Phillies are absolutely back in the race for the best record in baseball, trending upwards. Them grinding through and succeeding against good teams has put them in a position to hopefully benefit even greater against weaker squads. The Phillies took care of the Blue Jays like they should have and now they have a four game series against the struggling mightily NL East foe Miami Marlins.

If they can win this series or of course sweep them, which is entirely possible, the Phils can be rolling in a big way.

Dodgers are 84-56, the Phillies are 83-56. The Phils feel dangerous again.

Ranger Suarez hits the mound and maybe he can get his mojo back against the Marlins. Game starts in a few!

GO PHILS!
