Phillies get beat badly again yesterday | Cristopher Sanchez on the hill to try and avoid a series loss vs Giants

Yeah, yesterday was really rough for the Phillies. Nola gave up four runs in the very first inning and the Phils actually managed to bounce back and tie it up but frankly Nola continued to struggle. Nola gave up six of the Giants' eleven runs and now has a 6.65 ERA. In Nola's first rough starts to start 2025 he didn't really have any run support, but last night was a different story in that respect. Nola might have to seriously get in the lab and figure out what's going on with his game. Throwing motion, pitch selection, command, I don't know but this is an alarmingly bad pace to start the season.

The Giants' offense has been really dominant throughout this series and that only continued, four different Giants had two RBIs yesterday.

Sanchez is on the hill as we speak. Phils gotta take this one game at a time and not lose another series here. Today definitely feels very important.

Hope the Phils fans are loud today. I should be able to watch this series finale in full and after a busy week it feels good to do so.

#GOPHILS!!
