Phillies get a much needed win yesterday, look to win series tonight in Chicago + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 46

The Phillies broke their five game losing streak and avoided going below .500 last evening in Chicago and it was a sight to see. The offense really came to life in a big way and it was pretty impressive to see because there was a lot of small ball offensively when the Phils are typically known for their power. There was only one home run by the Phils in their 10-4 victory and it was a solo shot by Max Kepler. Six of those runs were scored in the fourth inning alone as the Phils batted around. Eight different Phillies recorded a hit and seven different Phillies recorded an RBI. It was a seriously well balanced attack on offense.

After a rough stretch the Phils can win themselves a series tonight and that would feel great. Aaron Nola pitches tonight and he's been struggling majorly, so if he can pitch well and help the guys get this win, it would feel extra excellent going into the team's off day Monday.

Jameson Taillon is the pitcher the Phillies will be facing. Taillon was the #2 overall pick in the 2010 MLB Draft and tonight he enters tonight having recorded 999 strikeouts. So there's an absurdly high chance he gets that highly respectable milestone of 1,000 strikeouts.

Let's get this series though!
