Phillies get a much needed win in Atlanta 3-2, look to win the series with a win tonight + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 22

Phillies get a pretty great win last night to at least maintain a solid lead in the NL East. I watched last night's game while out at the gym with my friend. Baseball is the perfect sport to watch casually sometimes.

I have been saying that the Phillies are in Philadelphia the past several days. Quite stupid of me, for the record they have been playing in ATLANTA, Georgia. Sheesh.

Anyway, last night the Phillies and Braves had a tight low-scoring battle once again. These types of games can be suspenseful, but sometimes these are the most fun games to watch for the true baseball fans, and if your team comes out on top, these games are quite satisfying.

The Phillies were down 2-0 but fought back in the sixth to tie it up thanks to Sosa and Rojas kickstarting things with some hits. Schwarber and Turner each got sacrifice hits to tie it up. Later in the eighth Marsh hit himself a sacrifice fly that would end up being the game winning run. All of the runs the Phillies scored were due to sacrifices. Not exactly thrilling baseball, but good fundamental, team ball.

After Braves' shortstop Orlando Arcia homered in the fourth, he decided to stare down Bryce Harper, I guess as payback for when Harper did it in the playoffs last season. Welp, the Phillies won then, and won last night. Also, Bryce did it in the PLAYOFFS. L for Arcia. HA!!

Tonight the Phillies are seeking a big series win and their seventy-fifth win of the season. A win would mean the Phillies would keep a very nice, pretty comfortable eight game lead in the division. Cristopher Sanchez is on the mound, he pitched extremely well the other day, it would be outstanding to see him mimic that performance tonight.

The Phillies have averaged a whopping two runs a game in this series, it would be nice to really rip off some runs too.

GO PHILS!!
