Welp, the Phillies lost. Their season is OVER. HA. Just kidding. It was just a tough 4-1 loss. The offense did look pretty tragic though I will admit. The boys only put together three hits all game long. Kyle Schwarber missed his second game in a row and is due to miss this game as well due to an illness. Tough! Hope he can rest up and recover soon. The Phillies are off tomorrow too so at least that gives him an extra day. It's been abruptly hot in the Philly area, all I can do is speculate but perhaps that's contributing to his illness. I know it threw me off anyway. The weather should be more spring-like once again starting tomorrow.

It's just one loss of course but I do worry a bit that they worked so hard to recover from their early major struggles, that perhaps a cold streak is around the corner. Hopefully not a ten game losing streak cold but a cold streak nonetheless. That's the danger with large, tough losing streaks like they had. Sure they recovered, but as hot as they've been they're still just a single game above .500. Don't get me wrong it's been AWESOME watching them turn things around as they have, but I just worry slightly that's all.

Schwarbs is out for now, and now Aaron Nola is on the mound today which, is really not an exciting idea in my opinion. Nola has stunk man. Hate to say it but it's just true. It took an absolute miracle, a cinematic masterpiece, an act of God, that he didn't take the loss in his last start.

But believe me, I am still on the positive side with this team overall. I'm just a bit tired and ranting a bit LOL.

The boys need to work hard for a win, and enjoy their off day.

It's officially their 50th game today and at the game's conclusion they'll be nearly 31% done with their season...
