The Phillies lost a brutal game yesterday versus the Braves which is unfortunate. Luckily the Mets also lost yesterday which is a silver lining. The Phillies blew a really excellent start by Jesús Luzardo since the Phillies offense absolutely fell asleep after their 19 run offensive explosion the other day. They've averaged 2 runs a game since that game... Ugh I feared this exact scenario unfortunately. The Phillies offense can be wildly inconsistent which is a bit depressing at times.

The Phillies need to move on and it won't be easy as the Phillies travel to Milwaukee to begin September! The Brewers are having an excellent season currently holding the best record in baseball and by a considerable margin. Their 85-53 record is the best record by 5.5 games! But hey maybe the Phillies can put a dent into that record and maybe even take some ground towards that one seed. Ya never know!

Taijuan Walker is on the mound to face this powerful lineup. Let's see how this goes! I'm a bit nervous but excited! This offense is an aspect I'm more worried about than another other aspect of the Phillies at the moment.

The Mets just won versus the Tigers... Yeah September is already full of suspense! Can't believe we are already here. Football is just days away! MLB playoffs are around the corner, basketball will be back soon...

I gotta start thinking about buying Christmas presents sooner than later!😅
