Phillies are on an actual win streak!

I was out with some buddies last night, so I only caught about half of yesterday's game. But luckily I did happen to catch the majority of the important moments.

The Phillies finally won a series against a very good Dodgers team, and yesterday followed it up with another sweet win in Phoenix. Kyle Schwarber did not hit another Schwarbomb but he did stay pretty hot with a couple of hits. Bryce Harper was three for four and J.T. Realmuto hit his eighth homer of the season. Collectively the offense performed well gathering a WHOPPING fourteen hits.

It's set to be INSANELY hot in the Valley of the Sun this evening for game two. It will be WELL over 100 degrees, practically 110 actually with a high of 108!!! 'Dry' heat or not, that is insane! Hopefully the team is ready with some Gatorade because SHEESH.

Wheeler is set to take the mound which is always a good feeling. Rare he doesn't give the boys a chance to win. Phils will be facing Arizona's Ryne Nelson who is 8-6 with a 4.65 ERA.

Let's hope the Phils bats stay hot as the desert they're playing in and they can capture their FOURTH straight victory!
