Eddie George 2021 Score Throwback NFL Football Card

Eddie George will always be the man in my eyes. Major legend. Him and Steve McNair of course.

Images like this of Eddie will probably always be imprinted in my mind. To have this available to look at from time to time is fun. Big ole Eddie himself, in those big dense shoulder pads. His iconic huge mouthpiece. He was the perfect running back to get the privilege to wear two-tone blue for the first time. Powerful, natural runner with plenty of speed. The guy was a machine.

On this day 28 years ago as a Tennessee Oiler, he TORCHED the Raiders on the ground for 216 yards, a number he would never surpass in a single game of course. The Tennessee Oilers were only around for two seasons and this game took place in Memphis as the franchise was transitioning from Houston. Really this fact just increases Eddie's lore if that makes sense LOL.

Here are highlights from that very game 28 years ago today that went to OT! Good game. It's odd to see a regular season game be played in August. Always love hearing Boomer's voice in these old school NFL highlights.

The top movie in the U.S. while Eddie was running through the Raiders 28 years ago was 'G.I. Jane' starring Demi Moore. Never watched this ever. I have heard of it though.

The fact about Eddie on the back of this card is definitely interesting. I remember when I first heard about Eddie trying out acting, I was kind of surprised. Eddie is an interestingly deep thinker at times. Seems like a good dude and he remains a role model to many.
