Bryce Harper records his 1000th Career RBI in last night's victory! + A.D. Hammer RTTS Part 52

The Phillies won yesterday's game in a very savvy fashion as many of their eight runs came from a ton of walks and simply getting on base by any means. Ranger Suárez put together a strong performance once again, going seven innings and allowing three runs. It's good for obvious reasons that Suárez is performing well after coming back from injury. But Ranger's return also helps the struggling Aaron Nola because after several bad performances, it's been revealed that Aaron has been dealing with an ankle sprain. So Ranger's presence can help hopefully steady the ship while Aaron heals up. It's a pretty decent luxury that the Phillies have a deep enough roster to pull this off, for now.

While the Phillies scored a lot of runs due to a sort of small ball approach, they did record nine hits against the Pirates yesterday. One of those hits was by Bryce Harper, and that hit by Bryce Harper happened to be Bryce's 1000th RBI! Only 270 other times has this ever occurred in MLB history! It's a pretty cool thing to witness. Cool that it happened in Philly! Harper is a Hall of Famer and I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of other cool milestones along the way for Bryce.

Speaking of milestones, Kyle Schwarber is only one homer shy of his 300th career bomb. Let's hope that happens tonight!

It's Zach Wheeler on the mound tonight in game two of this Battle of Pennsylvania. The weather is pretty outstanding in the Philadelphia area tonight so there SHOULDN'T be any issues. There was ANOTHER rain delay yesterday!

But anyway, I heard the Phils are on a 96 win pace which is pretty great. Would love to see that hit triple digits just for fun though LOL.

Seems like a great night for baseball.
