The A's lost a very entertaining game vs the Rangers yesterday, so the series ultimately ended up being a tie 2-2. The A's fought hard though and had their chances to win no doubt about it. It was another back and forth game for sure.

I thought the A's had it after a super clutch bottom of the eighth, when they came back from a two run deficit thanks to a massive Nick Kurtz three-run double that gave the A's the lead.

But then the Rangers showed some fight of their own. They were only down one run so it wasn't an unbelievable comeback by any means but they then tacked on three more insurance runs. They would then win 9-6. There was a total of five lead changes in the game! Pretty nuts. I might have nightmares about Jake Burger LOL.

Tonight the A's host the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox are pretty much looked at as one of the worst teams in baseball. But this presents an intriguing test for the A's. If the A's want to have a big surprise type of year where they make the playoffs, they have to take care of business against teams like this.

I was out delivering food on my bike again, listening to the Phillies get whooped. I'll save further thoughts about them tomorrow but the point is that was depressing to hear BUT thanks to me covering the A's again I have another chance to watch more baseball and hopefully a victory. I also have a chance for double pain too but that's the risk I'm willing to take!

In my neck of the woods on the east coast, it's getting toasty but the A's out west will be dealing with a different climate obviously, temperatures will likely dip into the high 50's.

Round two of baseball! Let's go!
