Well, the A's looked like they were well on their way to a win for a split second yesterday. They took a 3-0 lead in the third inning but the Rangers chipped away and the offense stalled the rest of the way. It was just one of those games. Well played by both sides really. Jeffrey Springs had a better start for the A's this time. He got through six innings and allowed four runs. Those four runs were ultimately costly since the final score was 4-3 for the Rangers. Springs has allowed eleven runs in his past two starts, his previous three he gave up just two. I'm not totally worried yet but it's something to keep an eye on for sure.

J.T. Ginn is on the mound for the series finale today and he has yet to win a game so far in 2026. Today would be a great day to do so! It's a pretty big game for an afternoon in April anyway. The A's could take the lead in the AL West with a win. It's early sure, but if the A's lose the AL West by a game or something in September... ya just never know what game you'll want back! Maybe yesterday was that game, who knows.

The A's batters will be facing Kumar Rocker. Now that's an awesome last name.

Rocker and Ginn share a lot of similarities. This is their third season in the bigs and they're both 26 years old. Rocker has 21 career starts, Ginn has 25. Rocker's career ERA is 5.03, Ginn's is 4.68. They're both 5-8 in their careers! Rocker is 6'5", Ginn is 6'2". Their height isn't super similar but they're both over six feet, rather tall, and when you combine their other similarities it's pretty nuts!

Let's see how they compare today!
