76ers lose a tough one versus Knicks in Game 2 | Embiid back tonight for Game 3 with Sixers down 2-0 / NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals
Sixers competed way better in Game 2 vs the Knicks than they did in Game 1, despite Joel Embiid being unavailable. They really could have won the game, I felt like I was watching the Celtics series all over again. But they ultimately went cold down the stretch and couldn't steal Game 2 as they did vs Boston. A lot of good things happened for the Sixers in this game, it just didn't go their way unfortunately. The Sixers could not score in the paint whatsoever, getting outscored by 26 in that category and they also turned the ball over five more times than the Knicks. The Knicks were just more fundamentally sound and a smidge more physical. I'm not enraged by the loss other than the fact that it was a playoff loss.
Now the Sixers are in a mega must win game. Joel Embiid will be back, and in a perfect world Embiid can be fresher than he was in Game 1 and he'll be able to make up for the seven points they couldn't score during their 108-102 loss in Game 2.
Ugh, the energy around the Sixers has been strange since the Round 1 victory over the Celtics. It's time to find some magic from before and lock in! No more excuses, this is the playoffs.
Being down 2-0 or 3-1 is one thing, but being down 3-0 is straight up disastrous. Ugh the game is going down now, I'm SUPER nervous. JUST WIN.
