76ers get a dominant victory Tuesday, look to start elusive winning streak tonight vs Warriors
The Sixers may struggle against some decent teams but they do get the job done against the weaker opponents at least. They won with ease on Tuesday vs the Wizards and frankly the game got a bit boring, but I don't care! Six Sixers scored in double figures. Interestingly V.J. Edgecombe wasn't one of those players but I really like his stat line. He contributed in a super balanced fashion. 9 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in just 24 minutes of action. Tyrese Maxey continues to excel as he dropped another 35 points. This guy is too good he's currently averaging 32.5 a night.
Tonight the Sixers will be facing the 11-11 Golden State Warriors. The Warriors will be without Steph Curry and former Sixer Jimmy Butler so perhaps that will favor the Sixers. Paul George will be out for the Sixers while Joel Embiid is questionable.
I really would love to see the Sixers stack some wins together starting tonight. It's been essentially a .500 season after their relatively hot start. The Sixers are 11-9 and that places them ninth in the Eastern Conference. The East is seemingly super competitive though and somehow they're still only a handful of games behind the second seeded Toronto Raptors who hold a 15-7 record. Doesn't take rocket science to realize that they're still very much in the mix in the East. It's still early but that's still a pretty encouraging sign.
It's looking to be a relaxing night of basketball.
