The last time I wrote on the Sixers, they were 5-3 heading into their matchup with the Raptors. That night, they indeed bounced back like I hoped they would winning 130-120. Joel Embiid was stupid efficient scoring 29 in just 26 minutes. Trendon Watford had a triple double and Tyrese Maxey had a nice night as well.

The very next night on November 9th, the Sixers dropped a close one against Cade Cunningham and the Pistons. The Pistons look like they're primed for a solid decade of basketball ahead of them. Yikes.

On November 11th, the Sixers got the better of the Celtics. Justin Edwards and Quentin Grimes had nice performances to help get that victory. The Sixers are now 2-1 against the Celtics in 2025-26.

On Friday the 14th, the Sixers lost to the Pistons AGAIN. Twice in a row in less than a week's time. The Pistons were WITHOUT Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren too. These games were pretty intense I will say that, these teams may see a lot of each other over the years here.

So the Sixers remain two games above .500. They went 2-2 since I last wrote about them. A quality win over the Raptors, a nice win vs the rival Celtics and two losses to THE SAME TEAM in the Pistons. It's a bit disappointing but MILES better than last season.

Rookie V.J. Edgecombe has gone through some struggles, and the once hot Kelly Oubre Jr. has cooled off. Joel Embiid continues to play off and on with a decent minutes restriction and Jared McCain is still recovering and trying to find his groove. McCain was sent to the G League recently but is set to return to the Sixers.

Another Sixer set to return is Paul George! I don't really know what to expect from him these days but I am fairly certain at the very least he will add valuable depth to the roster as a whole and I like what he can provide defensively for the Sixers.

Overall the Sixers are doing ok. I was a little too hyped perhaps early on, but I still think they should be solid this season and as the team gels and gains chemistry I think this squad has a pretty high ceiling.

I have a more reliable internet connection once again and slowly but surely I hope to write about the Sixers more consistently. Hopefully.

The struggling Clippers come to town tonight. I actually liked their roster heading into this season and while it's too early to write them off they are currently sitting at 4-9 and seem a bit off.

The Sixers should get the job done, but the Clippers are definitely pretty desperate for a win early in the year! Should be a good one.
