Todos conocemos alguna historia de algún perro o gato que ha recorrido una distancia considerable para regresar a casa, hay videos en internet, historias escritas, narradas por sus protagonista o alguien que supo del caso y decidió inmortalizarla y darla a conocer, todas ellas nos emocionan y enternecen, hace unos meses se dañó mi blu-ray, en realidad el lector, pero por medio de la entrada USB podíamos ver películas, así mi esposo descargaba con amigo y las veíamos, así trajo a casa una que cuenta la historia de una perrita que recorrió kilómetros para volver a casa con su amado Lucas, en esta travesía vivió una serie de aventuras el nombre la película “Mis huellas a Casa”

Esta película básicamente se trata de la historia de Lucas y Bella la perrita a quien adopta, él vive frete a un lote de terreno que está próximo a ser demolido, donde viven una cantidad de gatos y perros, allí nació Bella una perrita hija de una pitbull, ella es separada de su madre y hermanos, un día tras la llegada del servicio animal, su madre no pude escapar, pero ella es salvada por una gata a quien llama mamagata quien la cría, hasta que Lucas la adopta.

Lucas trabaja en el Hospital de Veteranos, al que su madre y otros veteranos acuden para terapia; por otro lado el dueño del terreno en el que nació Bella y la crio mamagata esta furioso, debido a que Lucas lo puso en evidencia con ayuda de su novia y, este se alía con un funcionario del servicio animal para perjudicarlo declarando a Bella como Pitbull cosa que Denver es suficiente para llevar a la perra a un refugio y ser sacrificada. Tras esta amenaza Lucas y su madre comienzan a enseñar a Bella un juego llamado “Vuelve a Casa” el cual tenía como propósito que esta corriera a casa si el servicio de protección animal los encontraba en la calle, al mismo tiempo Bella ha hecho muchos amigos en el Hospital de Veteranos y los pacientes muestran una mejoría increíble tras su trato con ella, aunque los doctores no saben a qué se debe la mejoría de los pacientes, ya que Bella asistía escondida al Hospital.

Así tras un fuerte acoso y con el propósito de salvar Bella deciden mudarse fuera del radio urbano, donde no es aplicable la ordenanza contra los pitbulls y mientras organizan la mudanza, envían a su perra a vivir con los tíos de Olivia (novia de Lucas) a Nuevo México, pero Bella solo siente que extraña a Lucas y en un momento de descuido decide que debe jugar ve a casa y escapa del patio trasero y así comienza un largo viaje de aproximadamente 400 millas.

De la misma manera, Bella en su camino a casa conoce a otros perros, encuentra a una bebe puma que ha perdido a su madre debido a la caza y se decide a cuidarla, a esta bebé, Bella la relaciona con mamagata, quien la crio y al ver que tiene un gran tamaño la bautiza como Gatita grande, ella cría y vive una serie de aventuras junto a ella que hacen tan largo su viaje, que pasan dos inviernos y ella aunque encuentra buenas y malas personas en su camino solo anhela volver a casa con Lucas, así cuando ya parece estar cerca de lograrlo, una manada de coyotes la acosa para atacarla y cuando ya creía todo perdido vuelve gatita grande quien ya era una puma adulta y la salva, además la guía hasta la frontera de su cuidad, allí la pobre Bella enfrenta la parte mas dura del viaje ya que al llegar a casa y tras ser golpeada por un vehículo se da cuenta de que su familia ya no vive allí y por si fuera poco el funcionario de servicio animal la encuentra y sigue, ella llega al hospital de veteranos e ingresa, ella nota el cambio al ver muchos perros en el lugar y tras ingresar al patio ve a muchos de los veteranos a quienes visitaba, así logra su encuentro con su amado Lucas, quien al verla herida desea llevarla al veterinario, pero al salir se encentra con todos los del servicio animal, quienes le piden entregue a Bella, tras un momento tenso recuerdan que el hospital de veteranos se encuentra fuera de jurisdicción, ya que es propiedad federal y por lo tanto no forma parte de Denver, de este modo al fin Bella logra estar feliz junto a Lucas y su familia, en otra ciudad donde puede estar tranquila.

Ya para despedirme, esta película es una muestra de lo fieles que pueden ser los perros quienes siempre esperan el regreso de esos humanos a quienes dedican amor y fidelidad, también nos recuerda la satanización de la que han sido victimas los pitbulls, una raza con muy mala fama, por culpa de seres humanos que no han sabido tratarlos y valorarlos, además de la realidad que viven muchos animales en condición de calle en muchos países del mundo. Así esta es una buena opción de una película para ver en familia, ya me despido deseando te animes a dejarme un comentario.

To say goodbye, this film is a sample of how faithful dogs can be, always waiting for the return of those humans to whom they dedicate love and fidelity, it also reminds us of the demonization of which pitbulls have been victims, a breed with a very bad reputation, because of humans who have not known how to treat and value them, in addition to the reality that many animals live in street conditions in many countries of the world.
