Por otro lado, esta película contiene escenas grandiosas y muestra cosas muy conmovedoras, por ejemplo, la historia de uno de ellos tras arrebatarle a los misioneros una Biblia que contenía hermosas ilustraciones, llega a conocer a Jesucristo sin leer una sola palabra de las allí escritas, también la fuerza de Djimon Hounsou quien interpreta el papel de Sengbe Pieh/José Cinqué quien se pone de pie durante el juicio pidiendo libertad repetidas veces de manera. Para mi esta película es excelente y vale la pena verla no una varias veces.

For me, a movie that everyone should see is Amistad this movie is based on real events and narrates many of the dantesque things lived in the years when slavery was legalized and allowed, this movie has great actors in its cast as they are:

The plot of this film tells the story of a group of African slaves who, after breaking their chains, mutiny on their journey from Sierra Leone where they were cruelly separated from their families.

In the same way, after a great struggle these men manage to prove with the help of their lawyer and all those committed to help them, win the case and return to their country of origin, after a period of approximately two or three years. Upon returning to their homes, some of them sadly do not find their families, as it is presumed that they were also sold as slaves.

It is important to point out that this film was nominated for three Oscars, it was also attacked by critics, but for me it is a gem that shows part of the reality that was lived for years by the human trade and that sadly still continues, but under other terms and modalities, what is called human trafficking today.
