“El mejor amigo del hombre” este es el título que se le da a los perros alrededor del mundo, existen cualquier cantidad de anécdotas e historias que lo corroboran, estos animales de cuatro patas son exageradamente fieles y leales para con sus familias, nos siguen a todas partes y disfrutan estar a los pies de sus seres queridos, hoy es un día especial pues se celebra del Día Mundial del Perro, pero esta no es la única fecha en la que se celebra o homenajea a estos peludos, sigue leyendo y te contare de esta fecha y otras que están relacionadas a estos animales, a los que no siempre se les ama como ellos aman a sus familias.

Como les señale en el párrafo anterior. esta no es la nica fecha en la se festeja a estos amigos de cuatro patas, pero la creación de esta fecha data de 2004 motivado a la inmensa importancia de estos animales en el día a día de los seres humano, además esta fecha pretende no solo recordarnos que uno de los mejores amigos es el perro. Su intención es concienciar a las personas, sobre la enorme cantidad de perros que son abandonados, o que aún están a la espera de una adopción en algún refugio o pero aun en condición de calle.

Si sales a las calles es muy probable que en alguna parte por lo menos consigas un perrito en condición d calle, con mirada triste, es importante que sepas que estos perros no suelen tener una larga vida debido a todo lo que deben enfrentar al vivir en la calle, hambre, frio, sed, peligros, enfermedad, maltrato. Por estas razones muchos animalistas e instrucciones fomentan las adopciones y esterilizaciones, además de la tenencia responsable por parte de los adoptantes y familias que tienen perros.
