Women are a sea of feelings, emotions and often contradictions, we like good things, but especially what makes us feel good, at ease, comfortable, beautiful, loved, divine, feminine, among many other things, but there is a topic that has inspired movies, books, memes, in short, that something is the female orgasm, a pleasure that not all men can take a woman, for those who did not know it, every August 8 is celebrated the International Day of Female Orgasm.

In 2006, in Brazil, in a town called Esperantina, the councilman noticed when he read the statistics of a study that impressed him because he discovered that almost 30% of women living in that area do not reach orgasm, so this councilman came to the conclusion that he was in the presence of a problem and so he promoted an ordinance to defend sexual pleasure in women, study it and address it as a public health issue.

It is not a secret to anyone, or something new that part of the lack of orgasms in a woman. It is because many times men simply focus on themselves and forget the pleasure they should make their partners feel, but it has been determined that women's ignorance about their bodies and what gives them pleasure is the other big part of the problem, in conclusion, it is a 50/50.

Now, what is the purpose of this celebration is to create awareness about female sexuality and the right to pleasure that women have, it seeks to make increasingly visible and notorious the right of women to sexual pleasure, this day became popular thanks to social networks, we know that can make viral the simplest things, so this date, went from being something local to something popular and is now celebrated around the world.

...to raise awareness among women about the importance of knowing and exploring our bodies, to know what things we like, cause us pleasure or simply are not suitable for us.

There are curious facts about how this date is celebrated in some countries for example in Denmark husbands must achieve a mandatory way that his wife has an orgasm, if not achieved a fine is imposed, which is nothing more and nothing less than a year of abstinence under the watchful eye of a policewoman. Another country where there is a particular celebration of this day is Norway where the day is considered a holiday so that women can dedicate the day to their sexual health.
