The 29th Match of the Big Bash League 2022-23 was played today between Perth Scorchers vs Sydney Thunder at Perth Stadium, Perth. In which Sydney Thunder won the match by 6 wickets.

Perth Scorchers batted first after winning the toss, and started the inning very poorly, Ashton Turner played a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 61 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 37 balls, apart from this, no batsman could play well and stay in the crease, Matthew Kelly scored 17 runs in 12 balls, Nick Hobson 16 runs in 12 balls, Andrew Tye 13 runs in 10 balls, Adam Lyth 11 runs in 16 balls, Josh Inglis dismissed just for 6 runs, Cameron Bancroft 2 runs, Faf du Plessis 1 run, Jhye Richardson 1 run, Jason Behrendorff 2 run, and Peter Hatzoglou remains unbeaten for 4 runs. In this way, Perth Scorchers scored 142 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 143 runs in front of Sydney Thunder.

In this way, Sydney Thunder chased the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in just 17 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.

Perth Scorchers bowlers Jhye Richardson took 2 wickets for 36 runs, Jason Behrendorff and Matthew Kelly got 1-1 wicket.

Sydney Thunder batsman Oliver Davies was selected as the best player of the match, he played a very brilliant half-century inning of 58 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 4 boundaries in just 47 balls.
