New Skincare For The New Season
We are officially out of winter in Australia and it is time to get some new skincare to replenish what I have and prepare for the lighter, warmer weather. Innisfree has been my go-to brand the last year as I haven't been able to visit Japan to get the usual skincare I've tried this Korean brand throughout these few years and find that my skin doesn't mind the products at all. The best part is that the price is not too expensive and a product I think caters to Asian skin. I have used many local brands and it didn't work, in fact, causes breakouts so I prefer to try something I am more comfortable with.
This time I needed to get a day cream, serum, and night product. When I visited the store a few weeks ago, they had a sale happening and the full-size green tea seed serum was in a gift box with extras and the price was less than the stand-alone product. No brainer I bought that set. The serum is great in the morning before I put on my sunscreen and it feels super good with it.
I also bought the green tea seed cream which is put after the serum. As my skin isn't too dry, it is enough especially for the spring months. The sales rep also said my skin is well maintained so I don't need anything too heavy. Though at night, I did get a nice product which is a black tea serum. I use it for the night before the face cream and after having to use it for a few weeks, my skin definitely isn't as dry during the last few weeks of winter. This bottle isn't cheap but for what it can do and keep my skin hydrate, it is totally worth it.
